The season has arrived where the weather is warm and the days are longer, that invites us to go out and breathe fresh air in the middle of nature.
Motorhome “essential things”
To have a satisfactory getaway without unforeseen events, it is important to have everything you need to face any problem that arises, be it mechanical or any breakdown that the motorhome may present in its electrical installations, in the kitchen or the bathroom.
If you have already traveled by motorhome before you will surely have your personalized list of basic elements for the trip, but if you are a beginner traveler, pay attention to this post, it can be very useful.
Here we offer you a list of essential things that you should not forget when starting the trip:
Spare wheel, jack, wheel wrench and jump start cables.
Portable air compressor, 5 meter sling.
Roadside emergency kit (warning triangles, vests, LED head-worn flashlight)
Water intake hose of at least 10-15 m in length and nozzles.
240v electrical cable of about 25m long, 240v power connector with adapters and extension cord.
Spare fuses and spare toilet cassette.
Gas cylinder (propane is recommended when you travel to places with low temperatures)
Carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm.
Leveling blocks. Light shovel.

If your motorhome doesn’t have a spare tire and you’ve suffered a puncture, having a tire repair kit can help.
Do not forget the documentation of the motorhome and that of the people who are going to travel. If you travel with pets, bring their health cards. If you travel outside of Spain you will need the European health card.
Also, make sure you comply with all Covid-19 health regulations and carry, if necessary, the corresponding permits that enable you to circulate in these times of pandemic. Since the measures taken by each autonomous community can undergo sudden modifications, inform yourself well before going out to roll on the roads.
